Everyone needs the taste of money, taking it to a new level rats from Tinsukia attacked the Laipuli State Bank of India’s ATM and chewed roughly over Rs. 12 lakh. According to SBI sources a total of Rs. 29.48 lakh was fed to the machine on 19th May and due to some technical reason the machine mal-functioned from 20th May (next day) onwards. When the maintenance crew opened the drawers on 11th June they were for a surprise as they found bits and pieces of pink and green leftovers.
The rats got twenty days to chew through that pile of cash like a feast is been served to them. The bank officials finally managed to salvage around Seventeen lakh rupees from the machine.
