Guwahati: The Assam Police on Tuesday recovered a huge amount of explosive TNT from Udalguri district.
According to reports, Udalguri Police discovered 31 KGs of explosive in two buckets wrapped with plastic from Uttar Naobandha, Anadabazar under Dimakuchi Police Station at around 2 AM on Tuesday.

Additional director of police (ADGP) for law and order GP Singh said in a tweet. “On 03.11.20 at about 2 am, unearthed 31 KGs of explosive in two buckets wrapped with plastic from Uttar Naobandha, Anadabazar under Dimakuchi PS. Suspected to be high explosive TNT.”
However, police could not apprehend anyone and further investigation is going on.
Earlier, on October 29, the Assam police had also recovered a huge amount of arms, ammunition and explosive from two different places under Runikhata police station in Chirang.
The recoveries included an AK series rifle with two magazines, one 9 mm carbine with a magazine,7 country-made pistols along with magazines,75 live ammunitions, a pen pistol and two Chinese hand grenade
