ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST THE PRICE HIKE OF PETROL AND DIESEL

A cycle rally was staged by the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Kokrajhar district against the price hike of petrol, diesel and gas in Fakiragram. The rally started from Kuraldhaba and went for 8 kilometres. The congress workers said that the Bjp government before coming to power promised that the price of petrol diesel and gas will be reduced but all went in vain as they forget all their promises after coming to power.

They also said that the present BJP government has rotten out and in the upcoming elections congress will be in the lead. General secretary of Assam Pradesh Congress Committe Biswajit Rai and Former MLA Shiv Charan Basumatry were present in the rally.
