ASSAM: RESTORATION OF TRAIN SERVICE

Running of trains has been affected in the Silchar and Badarpur branchline of Assam following landslides triggered by incessant rains.

Speaking to INSIDENE NFR PRO Niprendra Bhattacharyya said that the branchline has been restored and the train service has been cleared. The branchline between Silchar- Bardarpur sections of Lumding Division is restored within one day. Moreover trains from Silchar to local places like Manipur, Mizoram, Agartala and Silchar to Maishashan, Silchar to Agartala-Dharmanagar, Silchar to Thiruvananthapuram is also been cleared.
