Babysana Death: Pheiroijam Robinson sent to judicial custody for 15 days

Imphal, August 6, 2019:

In the latest development in Babysana's mysterious death case, accused Pheiroijam Robinson has been sent to remand in judicial custody for 15 days after being produced to the CJM Imphal West Court on Monday.

Pheiroijam Robinson, the Junior Administrator of Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, is also the son of Pheiroijam Landhoni, the Principal of the school, who has been detained in police custody since July 30 in connection with the mysterious death of Ningthoujam Babysana.

He was in the police custody after the CJM-IW granted 7 days remand on July 30.

However, a large number of women gathered at Khwairambandh keithel. The police fired tear gas shell to disperse the mob to avoid any unwanted situation. Three persons were injured in the incident.

Earlier, two of the Hostel wardens had also been sent to judicial custody in connection with the case.
