GUWAHATI: Both the private and government banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in August.
It includes second and fourth Saturdays, and Sundays, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar.
Aside from Muharram, banks will be closed on Janmashtami, Parse New Year, Onam, and other holidays.

However, bank holidays are determined by the festivals observed in specific states and differ from one state to the next.
