As the entire state plunged into welcoming the crowned prince Spring, the Nakkati Hills joined in too.The Nakkati Hill situated in the interiors of Bongaigaon district has it's peak as a cut-shaped nose. Legends say that it is the reason for its name.
A magazine entitled as 'Nakkati' was inaugurated at the hills which is situated at a height of 3000 ft. from sea level and is a sheer delight to the eyes. The magazine is to spread awareness about the preservation of nature.The magazine also imbibes in it the history of the Nakkati hills and its relevance in the broad spectrum of the City. It also includes judicial use of nature for sustainable development.
