Bijoy Sankar Saikia,editor of The Economic Times dies

NEW DELHI: Bijoy Sankar Saikia,  editor the noted media channel The Economic Times passed away yesterday.

He was also chief copy editor in Times of India, The Assian Age and The Northeast Daily.

He was awarded the PhD degree by the University of Guwahati and persuade his research at the department.

The department of mass communication and journalism Guwahati University, friends, colleagues, ex-colleagues and well-wishers are saddened by the news of his sudden demise.

They took to social media sites and condoled the demise of Saikia prying for eternal peace the departed soul.
