NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Khandwa, Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan, passed away this morning at Medanta Hospital here.
He had tested COVID-19 positive and was undergoing treatment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled his demise and said the MP will be remembered for his contributions and his efforts towards strengthening BJP across Madhya Pradesh.

He was a member of the 16th Lok Sabha and 17th Lok Sabha.
He was also the BJP state president of Madhya Pradesh till April 18, 2018, before being replaced by Jabalpur MP Rakesh Singh.
