Bollywood Film Maker Akashaditya to attend upcoming Sikkim Global Film Festival 2021

GANGTOK: Well-known Screen writer and Bollywood Film Maker Akashaditya will attend the upcoming Sikkim Global Film Festival 2021. The film maker’s presence was confirmed by the Chairperson of Sikkim Film Board, Miss Pooja Sharma.

Akashaditya has written and produced nationally critically acclaimed Hindi film Mohenjodaro. His other films include Gadar ek Prem Katha. His next feature film is TAUBA TERA JALWA (Under Post Prodcution) starring Ameesha Patel and also his next upcoming film as writer is Chanda Mama Door Ke, a Mega budget science fiction.

He has been a film director, screenplay writer, dialogue writer, theatre artist & playwright.

He has also written TV shows for Indian as well as Indonesian Television, some of his shows are like Kkusum, Kumkum, Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Angan Hoga, Akrosh, Kabhi aaye na Judai, Pyar ke do naam naam ek radha ek shyam , Celena Blue Jean, Akula Miki and many more.

Akashaditya has made a documentary named Aravan- God of Transgender , which is under post production and salted to release by the month of December 2020.

Apart from writing Akashaditya Lama has served as member and jury in Government of India’s various cultural as well film bodies like Central Board of Film Certification, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Financial Grant Committee, Ministry of Culture and National Film Awards 2018, Indian Panorama, IFFI 2019.
