DURGANAGAR: In a major breakthrough, the Border Security Force (BSF) today apprehended as many as 15 Bangladeshi nationals and one Indian national along the Indo-Bangladesh border near Coochbehar, West Bengal.

Five children and five women are among the 15 Bangladeshi nationals.

During a crusade against border crimes, including infiltration/exfiltration activities, 192 Bn BSF troops of Border outpost (BOP), Durganagar with the Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force carried out a special operation in the general area of village Durganagar close to the Indo-Bangladesh border and apprehended them while they were trying to cross International boundary illegally.

The Bangladeshi nationals have been identified as Abdul Manaan Beyapari (65), Khoyeja Begam (50), Dulali (20) along with 02 children, Hafizul (27), Saidul(27), Jaleka Bibi (25), Samaya (05), Khadija (16), Aminul (40), Amina (35), Arif (15), Aarpi (09), Arman, Sablu Seikh (55).

The apprehended Bangladeshi nationals and Indian nationals are being handed over to

Sahebganj police station for further legal action.
