Jammu &Kashmir: The Border Security Force (BSF) security has averted a major terrorist attack just days before Independence Day by busting a hideout in Mendhar, Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSF security also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the area.

specific information, BSF security along with Special Operations Group (SOG)Poonch launched an operation in the forest area of Sangad village under Mendhar Police Station in Poonch area.
During the operation, BSF seized two A K - 47 Rifles along with magazines four China –made pistols and magazines one Set I-Com, four Chinese grenades, four non-electric detonators, nine electric type detonator fuze of chinese grenades along with other ammunitions.
