BSF Gopalpur organises prestigious Inter Frontier Cross Country Competition 2021-22

NEW DELHI: The Border Security Force, SHQ, Gopalpur is hosting the prestigious Inter Frontier Cross Country Competition 2021-22. Sanjay Singh Gehlot, IG, Frontier Head Quarters, BSF today inaugurated the colorful opening ceremony of inter frontier cross country competition to be held at Sector Head Quarters, Gopalpur, BSF campus, Coochbehar.

A total of 66 players from 11 BSF Frontiers, are participating in this competition.

During opening ceremony an impressive March Past was given by the teams and pledge taking ceremony was organized for participants.

Sh. Sanjay Singh Gehlot, IG, Frontier Head Quarter, BSF, Guwahati said that inter frontier cross country competition is being organized as force level Sports to find out the potential young talents who can be groomed to represent BSF and national team at various national and international championship.

It is indeed a matter of pride that BSF sportsmen have earned 03 Padma Shree and 17 Arjun awards for their contribution to sports in the country.

IG BSF Guwahati Frontier also said that quality of performances are expected in BSF Inter-Frontier Cross Country Competition 2021-22.

The ongoing Completion will conclude on October 22 at same place.
