The voting for the bye-elections at assembly constituencies of Badharghat, Dantewada, and Hamirpur in Tripura is currently underway.
The voting began at around 7 am earlier in the morning today.
Reportedly, nearly 57,000 voters will decide the fate of the contestants in the Bhadharghat assembly constituency in Tripura.
The main contest is between BJP, Congress, and CPI(M).
It may be mentioned that last month, Election Commission had announced bye-elections for four assembly seats in Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh.
Bye-elections are also being held in Pala in Kerala. The bye-elections are being conducted using EVMs and VVPATs.

Counting of votes will take place on September 27.
Meanwhile, Bye Elections to 63 constituencies across Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, MP, Meghalaya, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh will be held on October 21.
