Couple found hanging in a rented room in Sikkim

GANGTOK: In a tragic incident a couple from Sikkim found dead in their rented house in a suspected case of suicide yesterday, said police.

The couple found hanging inside the room.

The incident took place yesterday afternoon at Kerbithang village (Central Pendam) in East Sikkim.

According to the source, an Initial investigation has revealed the case of a domestic dispute.

"The post mortem of the bodies will be conducted today, and the investigation will continue," said a police source.

Moreover, a case of unnatural death has been registered by the police.
