The opposition Communist Party India- Marxist (CPI-M) in Tripura has taken out a protest rally in Agartala demanding protection of the Indian Constitution and its secular fabric by the central government and the RSS.
The protest was carried out on the occasion the 26th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid.
Addressing the media, former Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Sarkar said that the public won’t spare BJP that has ditched them with fake promises and result this will be reflected in the results of the coming 2019 general elections.
He further added that the BJP & RSS is trying to polarize the people for political agenda.
It may be mentioned that, the Babri Masjid at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh was demolished by around 1.5 lakh number of ‘kar sevaks’ in 1992 claiming it to be the birthplace of Hindu God Rama and constructed a temple over that.
