DD Lapang appointed as the National Vice President of NPP

Meghalaya, March 20, 2019:

Ex-chief minister of Meghalaya, DD Lapang has been appointed as the National Vice President of the National People’s Party (NPP).

In the official statement of the NPP undersigned by the party president Conrad Sangma, it stated, “In exercise of the power conferred on me as President of the National People’s Party under Article 11 of the constitution of NPP, I am pleased to appoint you as National Vice President of the party with immediate effect. A line in reply to accepting the above will be appreciated.

It is to be mentioned that the NPP party is all set to make it the biggest and the best party in the northeast.
