NEW DELHI: The COVID-19 situation has been improved in the last few days in Delhi, said state chief minister Arvind Kejriwal today in a televised briefing.

In the past 24 hours, Delhi recorded 6500 cases the positivity rate has further gone down to 11%.

The chief minister stated that COVID's impact is going down in Delhi.

1000 ICU beds have been set up within 15 days. Thanking the doctors' CM Kejriwal said, "Our doctors and engineers have set an example."

Moreover, CM Kejriwal said announced that from today oxygen concentrator banks (OCB) have been developed in each district of Delhi to help in the fight against coronavirus.

He said, there will be a bank with 200 oxygen concentrators in each district.

"If COVID-19 patients aren't given medical oxygen when they need it, they often end up in intensive care units (ICUs). Many patients sometimes die. We have developed these banks to meet their needs," he said.

He further said, "Our teams will reach at the patient's door within two hours if they need medical oxygen while in home isolation. One individual with professional expertise will be part of the team to assist the patient or their families."
