DIMAPUR: Pushing the COVID tally of the state to 13238, Nagaland registered as many as 55 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Dimapur remains on top with fresh cases followed by Kohima (9), Mokokchung, and Mon each reports 3 cases and Longleng (1).
As many as 3 patients infected with the disease have so far been recovered during the day. Two patitents in Phek and one in Tuensang district.

Currently, the state has 727 active cases.
Total 88 people had died in the state due to the virus.
"Update! 55 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today. Dimapur- 38, Kohima- 9, Mokokchung & Mon- 3 each, Kiphire- Longleng- 1 each. 3 +ve patients have recovered. Phek- 2, Tuensang- 1," state health minister S pangnyu Phom tweeted.
Moreover, the state's recovery rate comes down to 91.67%, while the death toll of the state stands at 98.
No new fatalities have been reported during the period.
A total of 1,44.236 COVID samples have been tested in Nagaland.
