DNLA cadre held in Dimapur

DIMAPUR: In a joint operation with police, security forces apprehended a cadre of Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) at Naharbari colony here on September 7, a defence release said on Thursday.

Based on specific input, the security forces, along with Assam police, launched a joint operation in the area and apprehended the cadre. The release said the cadre was involved in several terrorist activities in Assam.

He was later handed over to Assam police at East Police Station, Dimapur.
