Drugs along with arms and ammunitions seized in Nagaland

Imphal, April 12, 2019:

The Kohima Police in Nagaland seized a huge amount of drugs, arms, and ammunition during a routine checking of vehicles from a Mahindra Bolero vehicle bearing registration number  NL10-5432 apprehended two individuals in relation to the seizure from a vehicle at Khuzama Inter-State Police Check Gate.

The accused have been identified as Aharavi and P. Zaisho. The police seized 60 packets of suspected brown sugar packed inside soap cases, weighing a total of 900 gms, along with 2 live rounds and 2 empty shells of 12 bore gun from their possession.

They have been taken into police custody and a case has been registered under Khuzama Police Station. Further investigation is on.
