SHILLONG: After Manipur, an earthquake of 4.2 magnitude rocked Meghalaya on Friday.
According to National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 1:16 PM.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 09-07-2021, 13:16:25 IST, Lat: 25.99 & Long: 90.27, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: 53km N of Tura, Meghalaya", tweeted National Center for Seismology.

Earlier in the morning an earthquake struck of magnitude 4.5 hit the Ukhrul district of Manipur around 5:56 am on Friday.
Tremors were felt in Myanmar as well.
The earthquake struck 57 kilometres east-southeast (ESE) of Ukhrul in Manipur with a depth of 90 kilometres, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
“Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.5, Occurred on Friday (09-07-2021) at 05:56:27 IST, Lat: 24.70 & Long: 94.99, Depth: 90 Km ,Location: 57km ESE of Ukhrul district, Manipur,” The National Center for Seismology tweeted.
