EDUCATION MINISTER TH. RADHEHSYAM INAUGURATED TEMPLE OF LEARNING DEGREE COLLEGE

Education Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam said that many students after clearing the 12th standard either go outside the State or get admitted in the State colleges to pursue higher education. However many students are also fail to get admission in colleges either outside or in the State.

He stressed that there is a need for more colleges to come up in the State to enable the students to pursue higher education. Traditionally education has been given importance and within a family there is always a mentor guiding the youngster in pursuing education. The Minister was speaking as chief guest at the inauguration of the Temple of Learning Degree College, Canchipur.

Pooja Elangbam the CSE AIR 81st rank holder was also felicitated during the function. The students of the schools were honoured for their achievements and contributions in the society.

The function was attended by Director, College Development Council, Manipur University, Prof. Th. Ratan Singh, dignitaries, members of the Managing Committee, Temple Of Learning, teachers and students.
