First flight between Guwahati and Arunachal's Tezu to commence on Aug 16

GUWAHATI: Flybig Airlines is slated to launch its inaugural flight service between Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh's Lohit district and Guwahati in Assam on August 16, bringing much-needed comfort and respite to airline travelers.

The services will be launched as part of the Indian government's UDAN initiative, which aims to improve regional connectivity.

Flights between Tezu and Guwahati will be available four times each week.

The launch fares start from Rs 1199 making it possible for a larger number of people to travel by flight.
