PATIALA: Hima Das bagged the gold medal in the 200-meter dash at Federation Cup, beating S Dhanalakshmi.
Hima clocked 23.21 seconds but she could not qualify for the Olympics because qualifying time was 22.80 seconds.

This is the sprinter's second gold medal in 2021; she previously won the women's 200 m race at Indian Grand Prix II.
She was beaten by S Dhanalakshmi on March 19 in the final and semifinals of the 100 and 200 metre races. Dhanalakshmi had broken PT Usha's record of 23 years.
Dhanalakshmi was beaten by Hima Das in the 200 m race on Thursday, clocking 23.39 seconds.
Archana S Suse of Tamil Nadu came in third with a time of 23.60 seconds, followed by Dhaneshwari AT of Karnataka in fourth with a time of 24.57 seconds.
In Patiala, Punjab, the 24th Federation Cup Senior Athletics was taking place.
