KHARAGPUR: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 has been postponed till further notice by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur yesterday in light of the surge in the COVID-19 cases in the country.
The JEE Advanced 2021 was scheduled for July 3 of this year. Revised dates for the same will be announced in due course of time.

"Considering the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time," read the notification released by the institution.
Earlier to this, JEE Main, sessions for April and May were postponed in view of the COVID situation by National Testing Agency (NTA), which was scheduled for April 27, 28 and 30, and May 24 to 28.
