Imphal Boy Lukanand Kshetrimayum Wins Mister India International Title

Guwahati, July 9, 2019:

Lukanand Kshetrimayum from Imphal has earned plaudits for the state of Manipur by winning the Mister India International title and the Garnier Men Mega Mister North East 2019 title at a function held at the ITA Cultural Complex, Machkhowa in Guwahati on August 8.

“I am very happy to be here today. I must thank all my well wishers, the jury members and Mega Entertainment for the opportunity,” Lukanand said.

The winner of this year’s Mega Mister North East will represent India at the Mister International event to be held later this year.

18-year-old Imphal boy Lukanand is a student of class XII student and won the competition in front of a packed auditorium on Thursday. Lukanand dedicated the award to his family.

Jonathan Thangeo from Mizoram and Sonam Paul Tenzing from Sikkim are the other winners.

Mega Entertainment, Northeast’s largest fashion and pageant event organizer, hosted the 10th edition of Garnier Men Mega Mister North East on August 8.

The contestants went through a strict pre-judging process during their training and grooming sessions. The events are conceptualized by fashion entrepreneur Abhijit Singha and have been produced by Mega Entertainment.

The finalists were chosen through a series of auditions held in Itanagar, Tezpur, Kokrajhar, Agartala, Shillong, Imphal and Guwahati.
