NEW DELHI: The central government on Wednesday further extended the ban on international flights to country till July 31.
Along with it, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) extended all the other travel and visa related restrictions announced on June 26.
However, the restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA, stated the Director General in an official notification issued on Wednesday.

The order further said that international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes on 'case to case basis'.
The ban on international flights to and from India has remained banned since March 23 last year. The decision was taken in order to contain the spread of the virus.
Some exceptions were made for certain flights for specific routes under Vande Bharat mission since May 2020. Bilateral 'air bubbles were also arranged with some of the countries since July last year. So far, 27 countries has bilateral arrangements with the country including UAE, UK, USA, Bhutan etc.
