India reports over 3.46 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases, 2624 deaths in 24 hours

NEW DELHI: Over 3.46 lakh new COVID-19 cases were reported in India in the past 24 hours taking the tally to more than 1.66 crores.

Currently, India has over 25.52 lakh active cases, while over 1.38 crore people have been recovered from the disease so far.

The new fatalities took the death toll to more than 1.89 lakh.

Maharashtra (4,161,676), Tamil Nadu (1,037,711), Kerala (1,322,054), Karnataka (1,247,997), Uttar Pradesh (976,765), Andhra Pradesh (997,462), and Delhi are the six most affected states in terms of total cases (956,348).

A total of 13,83,79,832 vaccines have been administered as of yesterday.
