DIMAPUR: Up and coming actor Lanuakum Ao, best known for a memorable role in the film 'Axone', passed away last night around 9:40 pm due to kidney failure. He was 31 years old.
Ao was taken to the CIHSR (Christian Institute of Health Science and Research) at 4th Mile in Dimapur due to ailing health where he passed away. He was earlier admitted to the Ovil hospital from where he was referred to CIHSR.
Apart from his starring turn in 'Axone', Lanuakum Ao had also acted in 'NSR: The Jade' and web series 'The Last Hour' (where he starred in a negative role).

Hailing from Longsa Village in Nagaland's Mokokchung district, Ao's big break came with 'Axone', directed by Richard Kharkongkor, which had an interesting premise. Lanuakum Ao was also appear in an upcoming feature film starring Ayushman Khurrana directed by Anubhav Sinha.
