VIDARBHA: In an encounter between the C-60 unit of Maharashtra Police and Naxals in Vidarbha's Gadchiroli, as many as 13 Maoists were killed today.
The encounter took place in a forest between Potegaon and Rajoli in eastern Vidarbha's Gadchiroli.
C-60 unit of Maharashtra Police recovered weapons, substantial literature and other materials of daily need after cracking down upon the Naxals in a camp near a village.

Sandip Patil, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Gadchiroli cheered the operation as a big success and also expressed that there might be more casualties on the other side.
The encounter between Maharashtra Police and Naxal's broke out during early morning on Friday at Paydi-Kotmi forest in Etapalli.
