Man arrested for possessing fake tobacco products

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 25, 2018:

Sleuths of Crime Branch of Guwahati Police arrested one person from Fatasil Ambari area in the city on Saturday for allegedly dealing in fake tobacco products.

Police sources said a drive was carried out in Fatasil Ambari during which a huge amount of duplicate tobacco products were recovered from the possession of the person identified as Bhaskar, following which he was arrested.

The person is currently under the custody of the Crime Branch and is being interrogated.
