IMPHAL: Manipur Chief Minister on Saturday inaugurated the 60 bedded COVID Care Centre in Canchipur out of which 30 beds have been solely dedicated for pediatric patients.
The Chief Minister informed that the centre is equipped with modern technologies.
“This facility will enable us to provide effective treatment for both adults & children who need special medical attention”, the Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister later inspected the arrangements that are being made to open a 300 bedded Covid Care Center in Manipur University.
“This facility will further reduce the load in our existing Covid Care Centre. We will be able to inaugurate this Covid Care Centre by next week”, he said.
Singh also planted saplings at both the locations as part of the Environment Day observation in the state.
“Let us nurture the environment and pledge to make our actions reflect our commitment towards a sustainable future”, the Chief Minister said speaking on the occasion.
