MANIPUR: GREEN SHIRUI FESTIVAL OBSERVED

A clean environment is a safe environment.

The Green Shirui Festival 2018 is observed in the top of Shirui Hill in Manipur. The Eco Warriors collected huge bags of garbage littered by visitors during Shirui Lily Fest. Meanwhile the Eco Warriors stood at the foothill reminding people not to litter on top and to bring back the plastic that they take up when they climb.

The Eco warriors hope that in the future there will be no need to remind the visitors. If each and everyone of them take the responsibility of taking care of their own trash, there will be no littering problem.

The warriors appeal visitors to conserve Shirui hill and protect what is given to them by Mother Nature.
