A team of Manipur Police on Saturday arrested two suspected drug peddlers from Lilong Lairabakhong along with suspected heroin.
The team of Lilong Police Station was led by Inspector Oinam Ajit Singh, OC Lilong PS, who was assisted by SI T. Johnkisan Singh and Jam Md. Amin commander of the G -62 team.

Members of ALADA and ANJUMAN were also part of the operation under the supervision of Addl SP(LO), Thoubal and SP, Thoubal.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Wahajuddin alias Abo (35 years) and Mohammad Rahimuddin alias Mani (44 years) who were held with possession of 6.2 grams of suspected Heroin no. 4 powder. Both are residents of Lairabakhong.
An FIR case has been registered at Lilong Police Station for further investigation. More details are awaited.
It is to be mentioned here that on November 14, a large consignment of narcotics was found in Tengnoupal district of Manipur.
