Manipur records five more COVID deaths; toll reaches 410

IMPHAL: Manipur reported five more deaths and 319 fresh COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours.

With the new deaths, the state's death toll reached 140, while the number of positive cases stands at 31,905.

Of the total new fatalities, two deaths were reported from Imphal East followed by Imphal West (1), Kakching (1) and Churachandpur (1).

A total of 79 people infected with the virus have recovered during the period taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 29,483.

The state's recovery rate is 93.53 percent.

Manipur currently has 1,652 active COVID-19 cases.

As many as 1,94,659 people have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine in the state till yesterday.
