Sougaijam Bhaba Singh alias Momocha (Thang-Ta Master), the founder of Meitei Shathup Lanthup Thang-Ta Academy, has made it to Guinness Book of World Record for doing forty pushups on a sharp sword with his right hand. Momocha demonstrated his amazing skill at Manipur Press Club to register his name in Guinness Book of World Record.

Singh said that as an exponent and teacher of the martial art Thang-Ta, he attempted the push ups on the sharp sword to etch his name in the GBWR, as other individuals from all over the world has made their names.
He also mentioned that this will also promote the name of Thang-Ta martial arts of Manipur.
While speaking to media persons, Singh further added that push ups on a sword with a single hand had been done on an international platform for the first time.
It was successfully done because of the confirmation form given by the GWBR, he added.
The demonstration event was held on Sunday and attended by Assistant Professor, HOD Department of Thang-Ta Manipur University of Culture and Assistant Professor Department of Thang-Ta MU of Culture.
