IMPHAL: Since the second wave of the COVID pandemic hit the world, every individual has been affected by it.
But amid all the fights and struggles in the ongoing situation, a healthcare worker named Maibam Ranita Devi in Manipur's Imphal West district is spreading positivity and motivating COVID-19 patients who are in home isolation or isolation community centre through a Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) session.

Maibam Ranita Devi, a trained nurse working as a community health officer (CHO) at the Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) Awang at Wabagai Leikinthabi village is trying to bring positivity among the patients through her dance movement therapy believing it is making a significant improvement.
Ranita said, apart from their treatment for the deadly COVID-19, " We also need to focus on mental wellbeing as well."
Manipur currently has 6444 active cases of COVID-19.
The state's tally of infection has reached 44627 and a total of 37478 people infected with the virus have so far been recovered.
Manipur's death toll stands at 705.
