NEW DELHI: The country's Olympic-bound boxers Mary Kom and Lovlina Borgohain were given their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Pune's Command Hospital, on Wednesday .

The six-time world champion Mary Kom and two-time world championship bronze medalist Lovlina are currently training at the Army Sports Institute in Pune as part of an elite women's national camp that will run until July 31 and is for Olympic eligible pugilists.
Four members of the coaching and support staff got their first dose of the vaccine alongside the pair.
