Masjid in Tripura's Panisagar is safe, dont believe in rumours: Tripura Police

AGARTALA:Tripura police have dismissed the reports of violence in Panisagar. The police claimed that the news reports were a part of the rumours spread via social media.

The Tripura police informed that fake photos and videos are being widely circulated on social media depicting the violence at Panisagar in Tripura, adding that these were being spread by some "anti-national" and "disturbing" elements.

Appealing citizens not to spread rumours, the police tweeted, “Tripura Police appeals to all not to spread rumours.
