MASSIVE PROTESTS AGAINST THE CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL IN SONARI

In a protest staged under the orders of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee the activists stood stern opposing the Citizenship Amendment Bill .The activists while holding placards and chanting slogans protested against the most sensational bill. Many congress leaders and members took part in the protest. The protest started from Sonari Auditorium and continued till the district commissioner’s office.

It may be notified that the activists submitted the memorandum to the district election commissioner Sulakshana Buragohain.

The protest was also participated by many leaders from the district.
