Shillong, August 27, 2019:

In a great show of empathy, a 5-year-old, L. Mayan Nongbri, has donated his entire savings towards the Meghalaya Chief Minister's relief fund.

Posting about it on Twitter, Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma wrote, "We had a special visitor at our residence this morning, meet L. Mayan Nongbri. Mayan, aged 5, came to me with his piggy bank and donated his entire savings towards the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. I'm touched by his kindness and his act of empathy."

In some pictures released by the Meghalaya CM, the 5-year-old tiny tot can be seen interacting with the Chief Minister.

It is indeed heartening to see the kids of Meghalaya stepping up when it comes to relief and charity work. L. Mayan Nongbri's example was preceded by three siblings who had donated towards to the Chief Minister's relief fund.

In a great show of charity, three siblings hailing from Bishnupur in Meghalaya capital Shillong donated Rupees 50,000 to the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, took to Twitter to inform about these benevolent kids’ act of charity. “Overwhelmed with love and spirit of these three siblings from
