EAST GARO HILLS: Chief minister Conrad K Sangma today laid foundations for the construction of two roads -- Nengmandalgre to Daribokre, and Nengmandalgre- Cherangre to Sisobibra road -- under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) roads at East garo hills.
The project of Nengmandalgre to Daribokre road will cost around Rs 70.55 crore while the road of Cherangre connecting Sisobibra shall be built for around Rs 12.06 crore.
CM Sangma said, “a connected Meghalaya is a developed Meghalaya”.

The minister has also inaugurated a new building of the Nengmandalgre Primary Health Centre (PHC) .

“Day 2 in Garo Hills. Inaugurated the new building of the Nengmandalgre PHC in #Williamnagar. The sanction of ₹500 Cr by the @15thFinCom& ₹350 Cr by @WorldBankIndia will go a long way in uplifting health infra in #Meghalaya which is the mandate of the MDA Govt. @drharshvardhan,”the minister wrote in an another tweet.
