Meghalaya | Girls outshine Boys in 12th Arts Exam, Diana Kharbithai tops

Shillong, May 27, 2019:

The Meghalaya Board has announced the results of the Class 12 Arts exams on Monday, May 27.

Girl power has prevailed yet again as girls have outshone their male counterparts in the HSSLC Arts exams by 7%. While Meghalaya girls secured pass percentage of 88.15 percent, 81.15 percent boys cleared the exam.

Diana Kharbithai topped this year's arts exams with 452 marks. Prantik Bhattacharjee was second with 446 marks and Alethea Phoebe Nongrum ranked third securing 444 marks.

The examination was held between March 1-29.

It may be mentioned that the Board has already declared the results of the Science and Commerce Streams. 73.80 % of students passed in science, while 79.24 % of students passed in the commerce stream.

In Science, Debjanee Bhattacharjee of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School topped the exams while Bhanudaya Upadhyaya topped the Commerce stream.

Meanwhile, the Meghalaya Board has also declared the results of the 10th examinations on Monday.

The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) has declared the MBOSE SSLC Result 2019 or MBSE 10th Results.

All the students who had appeared for the exam from the Meghalaya Board can check their MBOSE SSLC result or MBOSE 10th results on the official website at mbose.in. The students can alternatively check the results through other official websites like megresults.nic.in, meghalayaonline.in, meghalaya.shiksha.

1: Visit the official website: megresults.nic.in

2: Select the link for the 'Meghalaya board result'

3: Submit your roll number or admit card number along with other details

4: Your MBOSE HSSLC Result 2019 will be displayed on your screen
