Meghalaya: Petrol bomb Attack on BJP regional Office

Guwahati, January 7, 2019:

The protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill have apparently reached Meghalaya. Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the BJP office in Shillong’s Bivar road at midnight.

Minor damages to the office have been reported as windows and walls were burned in the attack.

The situation was quickly brought under control due to prompt action taken by the fire department.
