SHILLONG: Meghalaya recorded 192 fresh COVID-19 positive cases over the past 24 hours taking the tally in the state to 15,308

On the other hand, with three new fatalities, the state’s coronavirus death toll mounted to 157.

The state currently has an active caseload of 1,021.

As many as 25 people recuperated from the disease on Wednesday taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 14,130.

Meghalaya has so far tested 4.41 lakh samples for COVID-19.

A total of 50,000 people have been administered the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine out of the 1.88 lakh inoculation done in the state so far.
