Mizoram kick starts its two-day virtual Anthurium Festival

AIZAWL: Mizoram kick started its iconic tourist festival – Anthurium Festival. The two day festival was inaugurated virtually by Deputy Chief Minister Pu Tawnluia in the presence of Tourism Minister Pu Robert Romawia Royte on Thursday in VanaPa Hall, Aizawl.

Speaking on the occasion, the Dy.Chief Minister Pu Tawnluia said that the Festival which has gained popularity with tourists in the last few years will enthral viewers online this year and Mizoram would be on their list of places to visit once the COVID-19 pandemic situation improves.

Live performances by music bands and dance troupes; cultural and traditional shows and other activities will be live streamed by observing all SOPs.

The Anthurium Festival inaugural programme was attended by Tourism Development Board Vice-chairman Pu TC Pachhunga, Secretary, Tourism Dept. Pi K. Lalrinzuali.
