Mizoram reports 14 new Covid cases in 24 hours; death toll at 11

AIZAWL: Mizoram's state health department confirmed 14 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the state to 4,522 on Thursday.

Currently, there are 60 active cases in the state, while 4,451 people have recovered from the disease .

The total COVID 19 death toll is 11 in the state.

The number of daily new cases in India continues to grow, with 1,15,736 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.

On Wednesday, the country's total active caseload reached 8,43,473, according to the ministry.

Yesterday, 59,856 recoveries were reported in the country and has registered 630 deaths, according to a statement released by the ministry on Wednesday.
