Mizoram's COVID-19 tally crosses 9000 mark, state reports 2 deaths in 24 hours

AIZAWL: Mizoram's cumulative number of positive cases of COVID-19  has reached 9068 on Monday, with 239 new cases of the infection being reported in the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, the state reported two more deaths related to COVID-19 during the period.

Mizoram currently has 1808 active cases of COVID-19, while a total of  6932 people infected with the novel Coronavirus have so far been recovered in the state till date.

Of the total active cases, the state capital Aizawl has topped with 1578 active cases, followed by Lunglel (155), Kelasib (112), Serchhip (77), Champhal (46), Slaha (44), Saitual (34), Khawzawl(25), Lawngtlal(19), Mamit (17) and Hnahthlal (1)
