AIZAWL: Mizoram's COVID-19 tally has reached up to 10,024 with 292 new cases being reported in the past 24 hours.
Of the total new cases, Aizawl district topped with 240 cases, followed by Serchhip district (21) and the remaining cases were reported from Champhai, Kolasib, Siaha, Saitual, Mamit, Lunglei, and Khawzawl districts.
At least 30 people have died in the state due to the infection so far.
While 2,46,511 people have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine 51,960 have received both the first and second doses till yesterday.

Moreover, persons enrolled under the Mizoram state Health Care Scheme who are admitted for COVID care in government recognised hospitals, dedicated COVID health care centres (DCHC), COVID care centres (CCC), and Community COVID care centres (CCCC) can claim medical expenses as well as food billing during their stay in the hospital or care centre, according to the state government.
